Jesus of Nazareth
These
simple, luminous words come from the depths of the human heart.
It is proper to doubt. Do not be led by holy scriptures, or by mere logic or inference, or by appearances, or by authority of religious teachers. But when you realize the something is unwholesome and bad for you, give it up. And when you realize that something is wholesome and good for you, do it.
Don’t be anxious about what you will eat or what you will wear. Isn’t your life more than its food, and your body more than its clothing? Look at the birds of the sky: they neither sow or reap nor gather into barns, yet God feeds them. Which of you by thinking can add a day to his life? And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin. And yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was robed like one of these. Therefore if God so clothes the grass, which grows in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he all the more clothe you? So don’t worry about these things and say, “What will we eat?” or “What will we wear?” For this is what worldly people seek; and your Father knows that you need these things. But first seek the kingdom of God; and these things will be given to you as well.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Don’t judge, and you will not be judges; don’t condemn, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you: they will pour into your lap good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing. For the measure by which you give is the measure by which you will receive.

Unless you change your life and become like a child, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

The Kingdom of God does not come if
you watch for it. Nor will anyone be able to say, “ It is here” or “ It is
there.” For the kingdom of God is within you.
